Hi All,

For some reason my IE browser has started to ask me on just about everything if I want to 'click to activate this control' on web pages. Have microsoft done something or have I inadvently changed a setting?

microsoft did it to protect you.

Yes, that behavior is caused by a recent Windows Update. See

The main reason, isn't really protection however.
