When I click the start button, the menu box opens just like it should. That's good. But as soon as I bring the cursor up
high enough that the first sub-menu opens (settings), then the control panel opens without me clicking or even selecting it. If I move real fast, I can move the cursor past the settings to the documents, or favorites, or programs, but then those submenus start cascading open, and wherever the cursor happens to be, that program or document or whatever opens up without selecting or clicking on it. This makes it a pain to open up a program I really want to open, as you can imagine.
Have you ever heard of this before? Do you have any
suggestions? Please help. Thanks, Stephen in Bakersfield

It sounds to me like the system is receiving mouse click signals from the mouse. Leave the mouse away from the menu and try navigating with the keyboard shortcuts. If this solves your problem, then it may be time to buy a new mouse.
Al
atc-computing@home.com
