When I click the IE shortcut on the desktop, program files, or any other shortcuts, computer restarts. I get no error message. I am running all of my updates from Microsoft and even re-installed IE. I am running Windows 2k SP4. Virus def are up to date and I do regular scans. I can still get to the internet if I click on a Explorer window (my computer) and type in the website address. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Sounds like you're using the IE shortcut that is built into the system. Find IE in your startup menu, and create a fresh shortcut from there. If that works, delete the original one. Or, your individual login profile could be trashed - create a new login profile, see if things work better there. If they do, copy your shortcuts from the old desktop, and see how they work. Good luck!
