Click, Click sound on MErlin Legend 016 Port. Is it Message Waiting?

I am experiencing a Click, Click sound on several 016 Ports on the same card. It is less than 24 VDC when I measure the voltage.

I did look in the LEgend but do not see anywhere to disable message waiting and their is no voicemail box built for any of the extensions.

If I move the jumper over to a different 016 card I do not have the problem with any other ports.

Any thoughts?

Considering you have 2 modules, I would swap the physical locations and see if the problem follows the module.

I recall (but am unable to find my notes) that some 016 Modules had (or developed) problems similar to what you are having.

Therefore, it sounds like a bad 016-TRR Module.

But, you have what it takes to prove it.
