Does anyone know how to present a CLI Presentation number, as defined in the Public Unknown Numbering table, when an inbound call comes onto an Avaya CM6.3, which then routes to a virtual station with a coverage path. The coverage path has a VDN with vector having a route-to statement to a destination number? The Station is listed in the Public Unknown Numbering table with the desired CLIP number.
The scenario we are trying to resolve is where we have a Service Provider Network IVR which has 5 options. Option 3 of this IVR routes the call to the Avaya, which plays an announcement and then routes the call out to a PSTN destination number via a Station and VDN and Vector 'route-to' statement. The requirement is to have a dedicated CLIP number for the outbound call, so that all call charges from the Service Provider for these type of calls come under that CLIP number on the invoice.
To date, a CLIP number is presented, but it is always the same number, which is our default CLIP number and never the desired CLIP number as defined in our Public Unknown Numbering table. We have several occurrences of this scenario, where the system routes the call out, but we always have the same CLIP number presented.
The question is - is there a way to achieve this or is it not possible?
