Nice---does that mean the html code it uses for the web interface is open source, and so you can manipulate it to execute IOS commands yourself?

No, it means you have reverse engineer it from the source code which is a violation of the eula. However, Cisco is about to release some 2960 PWRs that wont be but 300 more than the 500 ... so it will be the death of them.

Yep, in that article in the end was mentioned about these new 2960 Catalyst switches with PoE!
