CLI Alpha taging

The proovider of My alog line has finaly decided to support CLIP, unfortunatly they insist on inserting a "-" between the STD & the rest of the number to aid readability.
This prevents the IPO from alpha-tagging.

So far I hgave tried the following in the dicectory entry will no success

01234-123456
(01234)123456
(01234-)123456
the only options that come close are

01234?123456
(01234?)123456

however these add the last digit recieved to the displayed text "Name:6"

Has anyone experienced this before & is there a solution?

You get to use BRI - why would you bother with analog?? Just curious. Can't offer a lot of help on this one, we have no such trouble with analog here in the colonies ;-)

I have a Bri Line for Work, that is fine
The Alog line is my personal line
Line rental on BRI is 3-4 time that of an analog line.

(+ my teloc which also supplied my 1.5Mbps broadband connection do not offer BRI to domestic customers).

I suspect that I will not be able to get it working with curreent firmware & will have to report it to Avaya in which case I suspec I will be beter off waiting untill I get my 3.0 trial software
