I am using some automated testing tools and need to clear the Start-Run screens dropdown in every other vision of windows you just click Clear on the recent files under start menu programs tab of the Taskbar Properties but under NT it does not clear it any idea’s

You'll need to clear the registry entries at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU

John

Tweak UI will do this (look under the paranoia tab). It clears the run history at logon.
