Hello,

I am having problems with getting rid of some old CDR records being released from our Hipath 4000. on output-gezab it throws out data from 2009 which I do not want. I am finding it difficult to get current data out. If anyone who knows how to clear the old data and to get the current data out from the system please help

AMO GEZAB is used only to output CDR data written to partition G on the RMX side of your 4K's hard drive. The CDR data can be written there by design, or if the regular CDR output device is offline. So the fact that your OUT-GEZAB produced CDR from 2009 is not a surprise. Your current CDR output could be offline for a number of reasons: someone typed a STOP-SELS or COL-SELS, the attached CDR collection device is offline, the ADP needs a soft restart, CDR was never configured correctly to begin with, etc. It would be very difficult to try and explain every possible scenario here, so I highly recommend STUDYING the attached file which shows how CDR works in a 4K. Then you should be able to diagnose your problem. The only thing I ask is that you update this post after you have fixed the problem. Good luck.
