I am running into a serious problem. The drive that Arcserve 2K sits on is completely filled. This is causing my backups to fail. I went into the LOG directory and deleted everything I could. There is a TAPE log file that is huge, but I can't delete it. How can I clear all log files within the ARCServe2K program? I've looked every where and can't find anything to clear my logs. There has to be a proper way of doing this. Much help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Stop all the ARcserve Engines.
Go to the ARCserve Server Admin\Configuration\Tape Engine Tab

Set the Logging Level to "None"

Delete all the logs in the Log folder.

Restart all the engines.

Cheers

Speshalyst So it Shall be Written!
So it Shall be Done!!

Also check on the Job Engine tab that it is not set to Debug as well. That will cause ARCSERVE.LOG to grow rapidly too.
