clearing text.

ok my question is. i set it up so when you click on the scrolling type text it would bring it to the preloader. but my problem is, is that the scrolling type text won't clear and it gets jumbled up with the preloader. it'll just sit there like a bump on a log. i'm a newb so i'm sorry if i offended anyones intelligence with such a question.
