I have a 1601 as my frame relay host with 6 sub-interfaces created and used. Very soon we will disconnect one of our users using one of the sub-interface.

Which command will I issue so that I can clear a sub-interface from my frame relay router.

Hope someone helps

Regards

you can do a shut command on the sub interface and or
insert this command

Router#conf t
Router(config)no int serial 0.2 <---- what ever the int
is that you want to remove ----> press enter

jeter,

I think I would go for the first option as this will make it easy for me if I want to add new connection to my frame relay host router. What say ?

Anyway thanks for the tip

I have to say I would leave it there and just shut it down. Like you said, if you want to go back and add something later, it's there.
