Clearing Selection List

I have read several posts regarding creating the validity drop down list, but this does not totally deal with my question. Is there anyway of totaling clearing the Selection List in Excel, or of deleting entries in the list?

Use a Named Range to define the list and reference the Named Range in the Validation > LIST.

Just delete the ROW containing the entry you want to remove.
