I have a Cisco3640 and we have dropped back our routes that we are recieving from our provider. I want to clear my routing table so when they start sending us the minimzed routing list I dont have a huge routing table

Thanks

Hugh learn something new everyday. I thought the claer counters just cleared all the information on the interfaces but hey gues not.

Thanks J.Fisher

Clear counters do just clear the information.. if you want to clear the *routes* themselves..

router1# clear ip route * ; clears ALL IP routes
router1# clear ipx route *

there are options if you dont want to clear all the routes. Just type it all in except the * and use a ? instead
