Clearing port stats

Afternoon All

Can I clear the port stats for a single port on a Cat 4006?
I have only found the means to clear stats for all ports using clear counters
Is there a better way?

You should be able to do:
clear counters e0/1
or whatever interface you are trying to clear.

You don't seem to get the option to specify ports. whenever I run clear counters ? the only option is <cr>
I have tried to find the version of IOS running on the 4006 but cannot find the command for that either.
show version only seems to show the hardware versions?
