I've got Windows 2000 running IE 5. Whenever I go to somewhere like Google or Yahoo, double clicking the search box brings down a big long list of everything I've ever searched for. How do I clear these down?
Here's how in 98. I would guess it's the same for 2000. Go into internet options--content tab--autocomplete button--click the clear forms button to delete the list then ok out. You can uncheck the forms box there to prevent that search history from being kept.
