I googled about this but got no answers that worked, so I thought I'd try here. When you type a new URL into the Address window of MS Internet Explorer, it gets added to the list and stays there forever. I'm using IE version 6.0. How do you clear those out? The Tools/DeleteHistory doesn't do anything, nor does the Tools/InternetOptions/AutoComplete some people suggested on Google.

The old addresses aren't causing problems, I know, but I'd just like to be able to clear them out.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi,
The Tools..Delete History should clear the History entries -
( If you use zone Alarm, however, it seems to affect this:
)

the address bar history can be handled ( according to this posting) as well..

CCleaner will delete the index files as well - why not recommend that instead of having someone fiddle with the registry?
