Clearing HISTORY of URLs

I have tweakUI installed to clear out the history of visited web pages but it isn't working (Win2K Pro). I still must manually remove them by clicking "Clear History".

I tried putting "Read-Only" attributes on the History folder which, it seems, has worked to prevent Windows from storing URLs in this folder. However, if I go to a web page (say, this one), close IE, then open IE again, this website still appears in the Address drop-down box.

This is really starting to piss me off. How can I prevent URLs from being stored in the Address drop-down box?

Try setting the following in ie

Tools|Internet Options|General

Change the
Days to keep pages in History = 0
