clearing Grand totals

Guys i been searching for a solution our micros pos 3700 been encountring. every year when the year ends in my crystal reports it shows the grand totals ,and keep on adding in it. Is there any way we can get rid of this Grand total or make it at least for the year only.Please keep in mind im just a user,or i can programme little bit of micros configurator. Any ideas.

How are the grand totals created? Do you have a group on year? In what report section are the totals located?

it shows up in consolidated system sales setail,and daily system sales detail,and i just checked nothing is showing up or not even dailt totals under the consolidated RVC Sales detail.Every night when we close its add up the numbers,and keep showing me the grand totals from previous years.

I can't help you unless you can identify the report sections your results are in and unless you can identify the way the yearly total was created. I think you need to spend some time learning about Crystal Reports or else find someone who is familiar with it.

You could begin again - do a running total that only includes the current year. Year(currentdate) and Year({your.date}) should do that.

The use of Crystal's automated totals is outlined at FAQ767-6524.

To get familiar with Crystal in general, do some test reports.
