I have created a test environment using 6.0, the equipment had a ton of configs. I removed most of it, but still some remain when I do a display capacity. Is there a way to just eliminate all the configurations so I can start fresh.

Are you asking how to reset the translations file to blank? or something else?

Yes and remove ever aar/ars etc that was configured. I want to log in and do a display capacity and its all 0eros under the used field.

why not just uninstall and reinstall the template in System Platform? That'd take an hour tops and you'd be starting with absolutely nothing.

I don't have the template and its 6.0, Im running 5.2.1 in prod. So my plan was to use this as a lab since it was a production environment at another location. So if I uninstall/re-install wont the license file be deleted correct?

Hardware Platform? CM Software version?

will this delete only ASA settings, don't want to lose any license files

ASA is Avaya Site Administration. This is for terminal emulation and GEDI bulk administration, reports tool. ASA is an interface
for programming CM.

Look at the examples above. The customer-options and capacity screens are after the xln files are loaded with no programming.
These clearly show features and right to use data from the license are the same as the previous xln. What has changed is the
Used and Available columns which are used = 0 and Available = 100% accept where default xln loads programming (ei ars entries)

Ok I putty to CM go to root, but password incorrect. I was told by Avaya after 6.0 and above you can not do root access. How do I get around that if true?

You use the SMI to create administrative users, you can then putty to the CM and login using those. From there you can su - to the root account access.

Well how bout this, in Dialplan ana there is * & # FAC 4-digits. I want to change it to 2 digit, but I get the error remove objects with leading digits. I have removed all ars, aar ( by location, by digit) , system features, FACs, route patterns, trunks, etc. but I do a Display Cap I have

21 AAR/ARS patterns
7 AAR/ARS Analysis Entries
4 AAR/ARS Conversion Entries
2 Digit Nodes
11 Short Digit Nodes
3 Miscellaneous extension

Is there anything I missing on looking at.. please help

Just go to SMI (web interface). Find the server role setting, set it to LSP, then set it back to core/main server. This will zero out your XLNs without having root access.
