Clearing a config.cache

Hi,

I am trying to re-install an application using different ./configure options, however every time I do this it uses the options I used originally and not the new ones. I have my options in config.sh file and have deleted the config.cache file but to no avail. I seem to remember that there was a specific command to clear the config.cache file, can anyone help.
