clearing a block

I have a tabular form of 10 records that have already been populated. At some instance I'd like to clear the records and remain with a blank datablock... How do I go about it?? The Clear_block build-in seems not to be responding.

How does clear_block not respond? Any errors or hang? Do you perform it on the block you need? Try to issue explicit go_block() before. If you call by pressing some button (when-button-pressed) verify that this button is not navigable.

Thanks Sem...
I was not doing the go_block and the clear_block was being issues when the cursor is in another block.. It works!!
