clear text in Flash

I have noticed that all the text in my Flash swf's is not crisp and contains anti-alias type problems. I have seen some sites where the small 10-12pt fonts are clear and easily read. Does anyone have any tips or tricks? Eric

If you're just going down to 10-12pts then you can get clear text in dynamic text boxes for the most common fonts (arial, verdana, courier, impact etc) just by not embedding the font - most PCs and Macs will have these fonts or a close equivalent installed.

Pixel fonts are designed to be used at particular sizes only (some are 8 pixels, some are 6 etc) and will have to be embedded, increasing your file size by about 30k.
