Hi all,
With ipcs -s command i see lots off zombie proccesses which stop some of my application runs. Is there a way to clear shared memmory without interrupting others or kill only specific procceses which i will choose?

Thanks

Hi pete91z

Thanks for answer i have already try to use ipcrm -s but i don`t know would that be trouble to remoeve all ipcs?

My experience with our application here is that once I have removed a shared memory segment or message queue, I have to restart a component in the application (effectively reloading shared memory). You should be able to relate shared memory back to your app components by looking at the start time and ownership. As always use with caution.

Thanks pete91z,
I have tried but didn`t work. So i had to restart Unix machine.
