clear screen

i'd like to clear my screen but i didn't find the comand.
if someone could help me i'd really appreciate.

What is your system? "Clear the screen" is actually pretty vague. Do you mean that you want to make you terminal appear free of text? Or do you mean you want to have your video device appear free of open applications?

Whatever the question ends up being, the answer will likely depend on your platform. So what operating system are you using?
