Clear Screen Command...

Hey Everyone,

Is there a command that clears everything off the console screen? Like 'cls' would clear everything off the screen in DOS. I ran a google search for this command and can't seem to find it, beginning to wonder if there is such a command.

(P.S. If it's Bash you're talking about, the command is "reset")

Hi

There is no such command as far as I know. But if you are on Unix/Unix-like system, most terminals can clear it. Press Ctrl-L.

Hey Tony & feherke,

I'm sorry i should have mentioned that i'm looking for the clear screen command in MySQL. The clear (\c) command in MySQL is used to clear the buffer if i'm not mistakened, I'm just wondering if there is command in MySQL to clear the console screen?
