Clear Run MRU Registry Key

I would like to know if there is a way to clear the Run MRU Registry Key without having to Restart the computer or by doing what MS says at the bottom of this article,

, by acting like your are gonna shut down but then change your mind. I know it can be done because if you goto the properties of the taskbar then click the start menu tab then customize the click the Advanced tab the finally click the clear list at the bottom, windows will clear the Run menu and the Recent Documents lists I know.

I think CCleaner will do it provided you run "Clear List" from Start -> Properties -> Start Menu -> Customise -> Advanced immediately afterwards.
