We use a form for filing instructions in Word. Things like client name, date to file, form name, where to send, etc is entered for each client.
I want to add a clear form button that does not print and that clears the data entered so we don't have to delete each item every time we want to enter a new client.
Any help out there?

How about attaching this code to the button in a macro?

ActiveDocument.Unprotect
ActiveDocument.Protect Type:=wdAllowOnlyFormFields, NoReset:=False

"Amicule, num is sum qui mentiar tibi?"

PERFECT!!!
Thank you so very much!!!

But IS there a way to make a non printing button? This form is used in different locations so it would make it easier.

Well now its not doing what I really need it to do... This is a shared form, so it's saved on the server, protected, and read-only. The macro doesn't carry over to the other pcs. I'm sure what I'm doing wrong. I thought I was saving it in the actual document but it's not working. Plus, b/c the doc is form protected, you can't choose customize from the toolbar to add the macro button.

AmandaRose80,

Sorry, I don't know what to do here. Perhaps someone else may be able to help you. "A married man should forget all his mistakes. There is no point in two people remembering the same thing."
