Cleanup instance after scheduling????? 1

Hello
CR Server XI MS SQL database

I need someone to clear this up for me.
i schedule a report and in the destination section
i specified a specific directory and report name
there the check box cleanup instance after scheduling.
what does that means?
does it means when my report is schedule and when it generate the pdf file to the specific destination it will not show my pdf file??????????????

Pretty sure when you schedule to a destination - it also leaves a copy of the instance on the server - clean up would be to remove it after it succesfully reaches its destination.

TWhat I understood, was that in your destination (inbox, directory, ...) you will have an instance, but in the XI system the instance (history of object) will be deleted.

But I've tried it in BOXI Release 2 Service Pack 1, but ... the instance in stays in XI!

No idea what I am missing. Any ideas?
