Hi all,

I am trying to have Maintenance plan to work for me to clean or delete Backup which is two days old but the clean up history part of plan doesn't work at all it does cleans history of job, and other thing but not deleting the file of backup(test.bak)

is there other way to work on that?

Please let meknow

Thanks

There is a seperate task object for deleting the files.

You need to make sure that the path is correct, that you have the correct file extention, and that if the files are in there own folders that the "Include first-level subfolders" is checked.

Also make sure that the file age is set, and that the NT Account which is running the job has rights to delete the files from the disk.
