can someone tell me how do i clean up b/w vectorised artwork in corel and how can I make letters or enclosed areas filled with line patterns (which I use as paths for engraving)

Cleaning up vectorised shapes is done with node editing. Highlight the shape - click on shape tool and then adjust nodes to suit. This can take some time and practice and if you do alot buying a sign programme ie Signlab may prove to be a good investment as vectorising is significantly better and so is the node editing. The fill can be achieved using the contour function under effects. Choose inside and then set your offset and steps, some experimentation may be required depending on object size and tool diameter.
