OK.. Here's the scoop.. I've got this here "bench manual", to build an engine that burns light, by cracking light into its half-life.. forcing it to decay into liquid electricity.. so violently, that a 14-inch long, by 4-inch diameter engine, pushes 10k to 17k pounds thrust... It runs on electricity.. it makes it's own electricity... It's output can open the bonds of the inert elements enough to force compounding with anything, even skin to steel.. Which means, at least 200-million new chemical compounds for us to play with , to accent our lives... I've had this technology since 1978... Every time I have done the legwork to build a project to get the lab funded, some big businessman politician sees the profit potential, and rips out the rug, running with his ill gotten booty, and crashing me back to square-one... I want to build and market flying cars, but I'd need an Army to stop the gorillas from stopping me... I' m 60.. I don't know how much longer I can maintain this data..? It is your species last option for survival...

So I went on the Internet asking for funding... All I got was flame-wars with imbeciles... I'm seeing that this species will be extinct by the year 145,730.. when the last human is cracking the marrow out of the bones of the second last...

I hold 300 untapped technologies in my memory systems... Seems the corporate world feels the need to try to rob it from my head... They invade my nights and dreams, as if they believe they have that right, is why I tags them as dragon kibbles.. They "knock me awake", to do battle with the apes... They are destroying my life, what little I have.. On top of it, they persist in trying to steal the data out of my computer, when I offer it free to honest people... Sometimes they destroy the OS... about every month... They kill the OS trying to rob data, and/or kill it for not finding anything worth stealing, in bullied-spite...

I can't get a better, more secure, PC, on this $200 a month pension.. I get my PC stuff at garage sales.. which is like "getting your computer-stuff out of the garbage"...

It takes about ten-hours to load a PC with W2k, add my softs, and tweak everything to snuffy... It gives the feel like the world is trying to strangle the science out of me, is why I burned the 75-thou pages of notes, and am taking it all to the grave... The States would make new people killing devices of these new technologies, which is why I had to burn the notes...

Now I'd like to get deep into W2k, and delete Everything that shouldn't be in a private person's hd... They ain't gettin' any of this new science! no matter what they try... They blew it!.. Can't be giving live hand grenades and nukes to bratty children... Re:"I boobooed"...

I don't have any of this technology in my computers... It's all in my head... I found that every time I documented something-new, suddenly the whole world has it... So the meat of these technologies, I maintain as thought, nothing else... I've got a handle on the mind robbers.. I sting them upon approach, or I lures them in, guts them, and eats them for breakfast.. but the PC is secure yet... I'd like to make my ole PC impervious to the apes... All it is for me is a gossip media, my world library, my music, my post office, my pictures, my printer, my copier, and the reason for my sore azz...

What all can I strip out of W2k without hurting the OS..? Has anyone built a software that meticulously removes all the Crap from an OS..?

Stripping pieces out of the OS could potentially break it. I wouldn't recommend that.

If you're concerned about people coming in through backdoors, etc., I recommend keeping it disconnected from the internet and using some physical security to keep people out of the USB ports, etc.

I have come up with some hardware that removes all the Crap from a PC. It's called a 20lb sledge.

As KornGeek states, if you want a more secure PC, don't connect it to the network. When not in use, lock it up in a secure place such as a safe.

If you still insist on being on the internet, get a reliable firewall, reliable virus scanner, and a reliable anti-spyware program. Then, start looking at security web-sites that specifically are designed to help secure your OS, unless you are afraid they also will steal your ideas.

tfg13,

While a 20lb sledge is dramatic and makes it difficult for most people to read the data, it would not remove the magnetic coding on the hard drive. Even more extreme measures would be required. ;-)

It seems to me that Linux, not Win2K should be your direction.

It's FREE, runs on anything, and allows you to program all sorts of low-level OS tweaks. If you break it, load it back (in WAY less than 10 hours). You will get many more responses on a Linux forum about how to do what you ask than you ever will on a Win2K forum. Try it, you'll like it.

I wish you the best.

Tony
