Cleaning Tape Issue

We use a cleaning tape every Monday before putting Monday night's back up tape in. However, we received an ALERT today indicating that our Cleaning Tape is getting old. Our IT person left last February and that wasn't issue she covered with me. Is this something I have to buy and if so, where. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Cleaning tapes are special tapes that instead of the tape being a recording tape, it's a special material that cleans the heads of the tape drive. You usually buy them from the vendor.
