Cleaning Job

HI Guys,

I have been trying to set up a cleaning job but when I choose it there is nothing there

Backup Exec 8.6 last build. windows 2000 server one tape backup HP 24gb

Insert cleaning tape, let it do its stuff, eject cleaning tape.

I ran into this problem before, here is what I did.

I put the cleaning tape into the DLT slot and from the "Devices" tab in BE I did an inventory. After BE finished, I right clicked on the media it discovered and selected properties, where I could tell BE that it was a backup tape.

Then I could schedule the job afterwards.
