Cleaning by "hand"?

Hello,

we've a Networker 6.1.1 running on W2k with DDS4 6slot changer. The problem is the autocleaning funktion. How can I perform a cleaning by hand to avoid the known problems?

Make sure all drives are empty. Eject your magazine cartridge and put cleaning tape in slot 1. Manually
load slot 1 from the panel. The tape should clean and then eject and unload back to slot one. Remove the tape and put the original back in slot 1. Your drive should be clean now.
