clean up network places

hello guys ..just wondering how do you remove old workgroup from network neighborhood on win98 and network places on windows 2000 ??

we recently change servers .. from nt to 2003 , and with this we change workgroup names of all win98 clients .. but the problem when you expand network neighborhood or network places the old workgroups are still there .. when you clicked on it an error will pop up which is correct since its not existing anymore .. i just want to remove this unwanted workgroup names from the list
