Is there such a way to clean boot Win2k?

MS Site describes clean boot for '95 & '98, but nothing on 2K. I have 2K boot up disks, but that only prompts me to re-install & Repair,etc....

Any Ideas, please????

SilentNight;

Why do you feel you have to do a clean boot?
A Clean Boot is used to disable common startup programs, settings, and drivers to troubleshoot issues in Windows.

You need a copy of msconfig.exe that was shipped with W98, but removed from W2K.
You can download a copy here:

Right,

But I guess I'm wondering how good will the 98 Bootup disk help me troubleshoot possible 2000k Pro problems.

Any Ideas
PS I'm really just asking this for my own knowledge and not because I have any specific problem.

Thanks,

Frank
