I've used Shapeshifter (in Panther) to apply the Classic Platinum theme. However, the window buttons look awful compared to the example shot in Shapeshifter. They look blurry, tiny, and generally just bad. Here is a small screen comparison to illustrate what I'm talking about:

Can anyone help me figure out why the buttons aren't displaying properly? I've tried a few other themes and they all work great.

I guess it's because Jaguar and Panther have a very small difference in their buttons position.

something like 2 more pixels of dead space between the buttons to be sure to not push the wrong button.

because of that, the ShapeShifter theme looks fine in Jaguar (pic on the site), but aren't on the right place in Panther (your pic).

now, that's the reason. but how to find a solution?

there is that guy called Max ( who wrote somewhere (I think it was that he's going to port most of the shapeshifter themes to panther, that he hasn't begun the classic platinum one yet but it shouldn't be difficult.

Awesome, thanks skalb, that makes perfect sense. I really enjoyed the Classic Platinum theme... In the meantime I'm bouncing back and forth between a few other pseudo-Classics (like Rhapsodized).
