Hi all! I am another beginner in E2K world and have a classic issue. Internal and external mail works fine. A record shows: mail.concept27.com and is directed to 68.110.74.240. MX record shows: 10 MX mail.concept27.com. On my firewall port 25,110 are open. But still can't get incoming mail. Can anyone help? Thak you.

Is you MX record being hosted on the Internet by your ISP or other such service?

looks like port 25 is not being directed to your mail server from the firewall (or to any server that accepst connections on port 25). Even if you have the port open, you need to go to some option on the firewall that allows you to redirect port 25 traffic to the internal IP of your Exchange server

My MX is hosted by Yahoo since I purchased the domain name through them. I have checked the record and it is accurate. And my ports are being forwarded to the Exchange server. I still don't know why the mail is not coming thourgh.

one way or another, nothing is accepting a connection on port 25 for your MX record.

can you telnet to port 25 locally on the server?

on the server, try

telnet localhost 25

If you get an SMTP banner, then try to telnet to the IP or host name of the sevrer from another machine on your network (telnet SERVERNAME 25)

If you still get a banner, the problem is on the firewall.
