I have a 2000 IVS in a motel config. When the console restricts the rooms they cannot dial 911. Where is it programed?

It sounds like "room cut off" If the console checks out a room, and someone tries to use the phone, it rings the front desk. This works automaticly with a PMS integration between the PBX and PMS. In command D031 make 200 be a 0.

I checked command 200 and it was set to 0. Can you think of anything else that may be causing the problem?
The one thing that I worry about is if someone needs to dial 911. They may not have their wits about them enough to think of dialing the motel operator.

What does "When the console restricts the rooms" mean???
How is this done by the console???
Are they using the Room Cutoff feature or are they using Hotel toll restriction via status keys????
This can be corrected depending on which method you are using.

I checked D001>5 and it is set to 0. Any other ideas?

I can"t totally answer your question! I will check it out and let you know. I know what they do but I don't know for sure what the button on the console is for sure.
They dial the room number and press a button labeled "Restrict" and the answer button. I will check and see what the "Restrict" button really is.
