Can ne1 guide me toward a sensible intorduction to setting up JAVA SDK 1.4 & JDE. I have it all installed but IE6 can't load any classes, even from the demos included with JDK. I've tried changing the classpath both dynamically and by changing the autoexec. but still nothing.

I am not sure as to whether or not IE 6 will automatically support Java. M$ have said they are pulling the plug on all built in Java support both in IE and windows XP. You will need to consult the sun documentation to see if there are any plug-ins you can download - failing that just skip back to an earlier version of IE.
