Does anyone have a definitive answer as to whether 1600/2500 series routers support Class-Based Packet Marking on a hardware level. If so , do they need an "S" set IOS to work.

Feature Navigator (implies it's not supported), whereas there are conflicting views in the spaghetti of other Cisco info.

Basically I need to be able to set DSCP values at the command line, for certain types of traffic. The limited functionality below I can use with access lists on the 1600, but I can't set DSCP values, unless this is assigning them ??

class-map match-any Gold
match access-group 101

access-list 101 permit tcp any any eq 1494
access-list 101 permit ip any any dscp AF21

I think I saw Cisco site a few days a ago that only 1600, 2600, 3600 supports it. Browse Cisco site for more info.
