Claris (Mac) to Excel (PC)

I need to move some spreadsheets from ClarisWorks 4.0 on Mac OS 8.6 to Excel 2000 on Win 2000 Pro. No Claris for PC or Excel for Mac available. Neither will recognise the other's files. Have obtained 'Claris to Office 97' but can't seem to work it (it wants XTND thingies). Some files aer simply data - others involve fairly extensive calculation. Any ideas, please?

What options do you get in the Save window dropdown box when you open your sheet in ClarisWorks & do a "File -> Save As..
