I have developed a banking software to emboss cards which has interfaces to other hardwares like pin pad device , embossing machine and a Micro computer as well.
The protocol used is TCP/IP. The program is written and complied in WIN-98 and it works well on WIN-98 OS but when i transport the EXE to WIN-NT Server / Workstation i can open the application do restricted tasks but if the tasks involves interaction with the Micro-computer, The OS generates a Dr.watson error.
The suspcions are the EXE while communicating does not support the 32 bit application or the TCP/IP used does not support 32 bit application.
Please do give valid reasons for this.
