Marketing Bulletin PA20070269 seems to clearly imply that by upgrading our 3300s to rls 8 that we thereafter can perform future system upgrades in a fraction of the time it once took and minimize the time for a service interruption.
By contrast, the training module for rls 8 seems to contradict this statement, stating that 512 megs of ram is required in order to have this ability.
I'm not concerned about getting the systems to rls 8. I'm asking about the future, i.e., going forward, from rls 8 onward.
Can someone please clarify this for us in more unambiguous terms? Thanks.
