I am looking to upgrade my Citrix 1.8 farm to XP and I need to tell the DBA how big the Oracle Data Store database is going to be. All I can find out is that Citrix mentions 20 MB for every 100 XP servers. Does anyone have additional information?

Thanks,

I assume you're talking about CTX392116 - which is the only document I've found on Oracle Data Store sizing.

Most Oracle DBAs I've worked with have had no issues with allocating 20 - 100 Mb for a DataStore and approximately 5 - 10 times that amount for a Summary Database (depending on which metrics you are storing, etc.).

How many servers are in your farm? If it's less than 100, then have 20Mb allocated.

Hope this helps
