We are trying to publish Outlook 2000 through Citrix XP so that when the user connects to the application through the ICA client, Outlook opens up without prompting the user for the initial profile setup. I need to know how to direct Citrix to look in a directory where the user's profile is.

At Microsoft's download area, download the Office NEWPROF.EXE tool. This will help you generate automatic profiles during logon. You can also find a lot of info about this on the microsoft office site.
With Newprof you can point to a profile document in the users homefolder. In my company I have also set this up (on a windows NT4 TS farm but with outlook 2k).

Thank you for your assistance, this sounds exactly like what I am looking for.

Let me know if you can't find what you need. I'll mail it to you then.

I know I am so close to making this work, yet I'm having trouble still. I've gone through the Custom installation wizard for office on my citrix server, added the newprof.exe and outlook.prf files in that customization (specified the exchange server name in the .prf), ran the office setup, published Outlook, but it still isn't working correctly. When I try to open Outlook through the citrix client, it is prompting me to setup the profile. Again, I know I must be close. I think your documentation may be a help considering everything I've got from Microsoft isn't exactly spelling out what i need to do. My email address is bdavis@cozen.com

Thanks again for your assistance, it is greatly appreciated.
