Programmer
I am an Access/SQL Server programmer
I have a situation where a CITRIX user opens a front end Access database and locks up the backend which is Access as well. No one can open ANY other front end that is linked to the back end, nor can we open the back end directly. We get a message saying "Can't open database already in use...".
THIS ONLY SEEMS TO HAPPEN WHEN THE CITRIX USER IS THE FIRST ONE TO OPEN THEIR APPLICATION.
If anyone else on the regular network opens an application that is linked to the back end, THEN the CITRIX user opens their application we are fine.
Note: The user is not opening the application exclusively. They are opening an "mdb application file".
Has anyone run across this?
Thanks in advance.
