Does Citrix have to be installed on top of Terminal Server? If so can Terminal Server be swapped out for my NT 4.0 File and Print Server?

That depends on the planned size of your Citrix implementation. Realistically you'd want a file and print server as well as a Citrix/Terminal server.

MetaFrame depends on the Terminal Services incorporated into Terminal server/W2k Advanced, since it is an extension of that software.

It is not a good idea to use a Terminal Server to provide other services, such as File/Print/Exchange and so on, because of the high demand for resources this service requires. It is far better to treat the Terminal Server as if it was just another client on the network, apart from the single function of delivering applications.

I hope this helps
