Citrix Server shutdowns

Help. I have been accessing my company's computers through a citrix server connection, while working on a LAN at a client's location.

After approx 2 minutes of inactivity I get shut down with a message of "The Citrix Metaframe server is not accessible, please try again later."

The frustration is that I just started experiencing thais after it worked so smoothly, for so long!

Any hints/suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a firewall, sounds like you are not getting to the server. Try opening a CMD prompt and typing "telnet serveraddress 1494". You should get ICA as a response. You may need a different port (1494) depending upon which version of Citrix you are using, 1494 is for Citrix XP. I don't know what it is for Presentation server.
